I keep meaning to read the books I started but re-reads are just so much easier and fun. Maybe I'll do some reviews tonight.Peathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02227247919280146442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598405075773345242.post-55351814408745674862020-05-24T01:54:32.353-07:002020-05-24T01:54:32.353-07:00I have been thinking about a reread of the Empire ...I have been thinking about a reread of the Empire trilogy as a long-time favourite, so imagine my delight to discover you're tackling theme and checking for suck fairy dust! I... can imagine that Servant stands up rather badly considering that core relationship. It was so easy to like Kevin as a teenager in the 90s - bad-ass, smart-mouthed, fitting neatly into the mould carved by James Clavell in my brain with Shogun - but in retrospect, aiieeee.

I look forward to your thoughts on Darkspell :) I'm delaying picking up Dragonspell for another 2 books at least (The Green Man's Heir and Empire of Gold are both creeping in first, and I _ought_ to get serious about the Subjective Chaos Best Series nominees) so you may well catch me up in Deverry! imyrilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17394279921984314006noreply@blogger.com
